Aardvark Bounce

I created this piece in response to the SCBWI Draw This! word prompt, “Bounce.”

In order to create a piece that would surprise and delight the viewer, I chose to play with scale and to include an animal that is not typically known for bouncing.

The result was an aardvark enjoying a good bounce on a toadstool while some curious ants look on.
