Inya is an artist from Transylvania, Romania living in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca. Growing up surrounded by artistic people, breathtaking scenery, vast mountains and deep forests filled with legends, made this illustrator’s imagination expand from a very young age.

As a child she spend most of her time drawing and coloring, knowing right from the beginning that art was going to be her passion in life. Be it written word in the form of poetry, short fantasy stories that brought national recognition or illustration, she was working her way up the artistic ladder. After a BA in PR and Communication Sciences and a MA in Mass-Media and Communication she knew it was time to do something that would make her soul happy. Seeing the world with an artist’s eyes made her talent grow and wanting more she established The 3 Gentlemen, Design and ArtSolutions Studio with two other talented artists.

The love for the Gothic culture, children’s books and fairytales provided the ingredients necessary to make the potion that defines her style of illustration. Loving traditional work she uses inks, graphite and watercolor as her three go-to mediums. With two art shows and counting, the quirky, funny and sometimes mysterious illustrations are a favorite amongst children and adults alike.

She is inspired by Chas Addams, Gustave Dore, Edward Gorey and Chris Mould, with a sprinkle of color from time to time.
