Jessica Reino is a children’s book author and freelance editor who was diagnosed with multiple life-threatening food allergies at the age of twenty-one, although she began exhibiting symptoms as a teenager. She is very active in the food allergy community and is a member of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America New England Chapter, the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team (FAACT), as well as Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE). When Jessica is not spreading food allergy awareness, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and developing new works within children’s literature. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is represented by Sadler Children’s Literary.
