Lena has illustrated many magazines and books, such as My First Book of Words, and numerous Hello Readers for Scholastic Inc., including the book Dancing with Manatees, which has sold more than half a million copies in countries all over the world.

“Lena Baby Blue” accompanied Ladybug Magazine’s publication of Eileen Spinelli’s story “Baby Blue.” Eileen’s story was published twice, in 2008 and 2011. This illustration was animated with the voice of a small child as the narrator; as a featured story, it was one of the best in Lady bug Magazine!
