Naomi channels her inner child every day. She believes ocean waves are for jumping, snowy hills are for sledding, and insects are for examining. Since she wrote her first picture book at age 10, she’s found magic in the written word.

Naomi is a contributor to Highlights For Children, was a columnist for Hometown Quarterly and has written articles for Family, Raising Teens and other regional magazines. She’s a member of SCBWI and attends conferences and workshops. When she’s not writing, she’s a pre-school teacher.
