Sandhya Vikram is a self-taught artist, born and brought up in Pakistan, currently living in UAE. Since childhood, she has been passionate about art. Her father, a Civil Engineer, created architectural designs that motivated Sandhya to pursue art, and express the color of life and her thoughts through a variety of media including canvas, papers, and glass.

Sandhya was a curious child: curious about the creation and facts of our beautiful natural world. Whenever she used to see any object, it seemed as though millions of thoughts trickled in her mind to find out: “HOW WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN CREATED?” She soon began carrying out her own DIY projects – in which she sometimes was successful… and sometimes just made creative progress! Over time, she gained the courage and confidence to pursue art professionally.

Today, Sandhya has been a practicing artist for over 15 years and has participated in various group exhibitions in UAE. Her field of art is in mixed/multiple media, where a variety of media can be used to create phenomenal art. Besides her more experimental work in mixed media, Sandhya also works in traditional acrylics, oil and glass painting.
