The Box

This illustration was part of a set I drew for a fairy tale about a prince who was born with a serious challenge: Down Syndrome. His mother wrote the story and contacted me to do the art. What I wanted to say with my illustrations was that, it doesn’t matter the challenge, the important thing is that the little prince could be happy enjoying little things in life and being with people who love him.

I painted it after meeting him and his mother and it was a very special work for me.
