The Breath Of Spring – a poem
Her breath brings renewal,
With a warm, gentle breeze,
Coaxing new life,
From winter’s bare trees,
Sending butterflies aloft,
And asking Jonquils to bloom,
She assures them both,
The cold will end soon.
With blue skies above,
And Violets below,
The Robin sings a lullaby,
And Fawn stands with doe.
Spring paints her canvas,
With soft pastel hues,
Chasing away the sadness,
Of winters dark blues.
